Supply Desk are seeking a Year 2 class Teaching Assistant for a small Primary school in Midhurst
Starting from January 2026 on a long-term contract
Monday- Friday8;30- 3:30
£82-£95 per day (dependent upon experience)
A small village school nestled in the countryside is seeking a Year 2 class teaching assistant to support by working with small groups of children and individual children to thrive. There is a high percentage of SEND needs within this Ofsted “Good” rated Primary school.

Job Description:
- Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Reading, Maths, Literacy, life skills and social skills or 1:1 with specific pupils and supporting their needs
- Supporting the class teacher with preparation and class organisation
- Enhancing learning experiences by giving extra time, resources and instruction
- Full time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
- Location: Midhurst– A car would be needed for this role
- Start Date: January 2026/ February
- Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
- Hours: Part time 32.5
Individual Profile:
- Some experience working with children is desirable
- GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
- Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding
- Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
- First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
