Teaching Assistant / Higher Level Teaching Assistant

The Role

You will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students, enhancing their educational experience and promoting independence.

The school welcome applications from individuals with experience in SEND education or relevant qualifications—but you don’t need to be formally qualified to apply.   • EYFS Teaching Assistant
  • Teaching Assistant
  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Key responsibilities and opportunities include:

  • Support students with personalised learning, emotional regulation, and the development of independence.
  • Utilise Makaton, PECS, AAC, and the Zones of Regulation as part of your practice.
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support, under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the needs of every pupil.
