Assembly Technician
Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: 25,000 30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday | Day shift | Immediate start available

We are on a lookout for a Assembly Technician to join our client's team in Mildenhall. You will be part of delivering advanced manufacturing systems across industries including automotive, medical and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform precision soldering of electronic and mechanical components to the highest standards
  • Assemble and wire control panels, systems, and sub-assemblies using schematics and technical drawings
  • Crimp and terminate cables using hand tools and semi-automated equipment
  • Carry out PCB assembly and repair, including fine-pitch and surface mount devices (SMT)
  • Work to tight tolerances in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment
  • Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering specifications

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a soldering or electronics assembly role is is essential
  • Strong understanding of wiring, crimping, and cable assembly is essential
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and circuit diagrams
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality focus
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a production team
