We are on a lookout for a Assembly Technician to join our client's team in Mildenhall. You will be part of delivering advanced manufacturing systems across industries including automotive, medical and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precision soldering of electronic and mechanical components to the highest standards
- Assemble and wire control panels, systems, and sub-assemblies using schematics and technical drawings
- Crimp and terminate cables using hand tools and semi-automated equipment
- Carry out PCB assembly and repair, including fine-pitch and surface mount devices (SMT)
- Work to tight tolerances in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment
- Conduct in-process and final quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering specifications
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a soldering or electronics assembly role is is essential
- Strong understanding of wiring, crimping, and cable assembly is essential
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and circuit diagrams
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and quality focus
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a production team
