Teaching Assistant - Milnrow
Pay: 103.95 - 110 per day
Location: Milnrow
Contract: Temporary / Ongoing (depending on availability)
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
We are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a school setting in Milnrow. This role is ideal for a committed and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
The Role:
Supporting pupils within the classroom, either in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Providing additional support to pupils who may need extra guidance
Helping to create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils with their social, emotional, and behavioural development
Key Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (essential)
Experience supporting children in a primary or secondary school setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A positive, reliable, and patient approach to learning
Ability to follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
DBS:
An enhanced DBS on the update service is desirable but not essential
Support with the DBS application process can be provided if required
