Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a primary school based in Milnrow, Greater Manchester.
This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children in a primary school setting who is passionate about making a positive impact in education.
Contract / Position Details:
Location: Milnrow, Greater Manchester
Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Type of work: Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom, assisting with small group activities, and providing one-to-one support as needed
Start date: September 2025
Duration: 1-term contract (with potential for extension)
End date: End of Autumn Term (Term 1)
Contract type: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time
Pay rate: Dependent on experience and pay scale
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience working in a primary school (KS1 or KS2 preferred)
Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year
Strong communication and teamwork skills
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Have the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
