Due to growth, they're looking to strengthen their Milton Keynes office with a driven Audit Semi-Senior, Senior, or Assistant Manager. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise audits across various sectors, including FSA-regulated entities, charities, and educational institutions, with turnovers up to £250 million.
  • Manage a portfolio comprising approximately 80% audit and 20% accounts preparation assignments.
  • Prepare draft statutory and consolidated accounts under FRS 102, along with draft corporation tax computations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on technical accounting and auditing matters.
  • Draft management letters and recommendations post-audit fieldwork.
  • Work with software including ProAudit, CCH Accounts Production, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, Alphatax, and Microsoft Office.

About You:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist
  • Experience delivering audit work in a UK accountancy firm (c. 2.5+ years)
  • Confident managing audits and reviewing junior work
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable - keen to grow with the firm
