Management Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountantbased in Milton Keynes for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Summary of the Management Accountant role

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annumLocation: Milton KeynesType of Contract: PermanentHours: 40 hours, Monday – Friday 8:30am - 5:30pmBenefits: Pension Scheme, Life Assurance, Private Medical Insurance, Cycle to work scheme, Optical Eye care reimbursement.

Responsibilities of theManagement Accountant

• Month-end reporting.
• Cashflow forecasting.
• Monitoring and reporting of inventory, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Ensuring fixed assets are managed and reported correctly. 
• Check and submit VAT and other HMRC reports.
• Manage credit card expenses.
• Prepare annual external audits. 
• Assist the Finance Manager.

Requirements for a successful Management Accountant

• AAT Level 4 qualified. 
• Previous financial control and management accountant experience.
• Experience with fixed asset management and working capital management. 
• Broad financial skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong IT skills with advanced Excel and experience with BI systems such as COGNOS or Qlikview.
