Sonic Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Director on a full-time permanent basis.
The role involves processing sales and purchase invoices, managing credit control, and handling supplier payments.
Candidates should have experience in small businesses and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Sage.
The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting roles.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to assist the Finance Director based on site on a full time permanent basis.

Duties to include:

Process sales and purchase invoices
Credit control
Deal with supplier payments and statement reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Process expenses / credit card transactions
Prepare and post Accounts Payable payments
Assist Financial Accountant with month-end routines
Payroll, including RTI on a monthly basis
Completion of VAT Returns
Payments by BACS, CHAPS, Cheque, Direct Debit and Standing Orders
Matching invoices to delivery notes

Skills:

Experience working for Small businesses
Systems experience - Word, Excel, Sage
