Legal Cashier (Part-Time) - Hours to be discussed
Office based role - Milton Keynes
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with and under the direction of the full-time Accounts Manager, the Legal Cashier will support the firm's financial and administrative operations, including:
- Client Money Handling: Processing receipts, payments, and transfers for client funds, ensuring strict separation and compliance.
- Firm Accounts: Managing the firm's own finances, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Bookkeeping & Reporting: Recording daily transactions, reconciling ledgers, and preparing financial statements.
- Financial Support: Responding to financial queries from clients and staff and liaising with banks.
Other Office Duties
- Stationery ordering & stock room maintenance
- File archiving and liaison with legal archive company
- Supplier and contractor liaison
- Support for Accounts Manager and Partners
- Record keeping
- Organising staff cover when required
To be considered for this role you will need 3 years legal accounts experience.
