Legal Cashier (Part-Time) - Hours to be discussed

Office based role - Milton Keynes

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with and under the direction of the full-time Accounts Manager, the Legal Cashier will support the firm's financial and administrative operations, including:

  • Client Money Handling: Processing receipts, payments, and transfers for client funds, ensuring strict separation and compliance.
  • Firm Accounts: Managing the firm's own finances, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Bookkeeping & Reporting: Recording daily transactions, reconciling ledgers, and preparing financial statements.
  • Financial Support: Responding to financial queries from clients and staff and liaising with banks.

Other Office Duties

  • Stationery ordering & stock room maintenance
  • File archiving and liaison with legal archive company
  • Supplier and contractor liaison
  • Support for Accounts Manager and Partners
  • Record keeping
  • Organising staff cover when required

To be considered for this role you will need 3 years legal accounts experience.
