Contract: Permanent, live-in (seven days on / seven days off rota)

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a respected sports company in Buckinghamshire for a caring and experienced Houseparent to join their team from October 2025.

This live-in role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in the welfare, care, and day-to-day life of international athletes (aged 15-17) enrolled in a world-class soccer programme. The position blends pastoral support, operational management, and community building in a supportive, professional environment.

The role operates on a seven days on / seven days off basis, providing a balanced rota while ensuring continuity of care for the students.







The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in pastoral care with young people (e.g. houseparent, boarding, youth work)

  • First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake)

  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills; calm under pressure

  • Compassion, patience, and the ability to support teenagers adjusting to new environments



Desirable:

  • Driving licence (vehicle provided)

  • Experience working in multicultural or international settings

  • Affinity with sport and an understanding of athlete lifestyle and discipline
