We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Milton Keynes, for a Quality Focal Point to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to take ownership of site compliance and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure site compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality standards
  • Manage and respond to customer quality-related queries
  • Coordinate site raw material requirements and availability
  • Oversee product failure investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Produce detailed reports and data analysis
  • Liaise with internal departments regarding stock and quality-related issues
  • Manage the site calibration system
  • Conduct internal and external audits
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to uphold quality standards
  • Perform testing of products and materials to ensure specification compliance
  • Identify training and development needs within the quality team
  • Support new product development initiatives and product applications
  • Maintain and monitor QC equipment, ensuring timely repairs or replacements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven background in Quality Assurance
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards (essential)
  • Internal Auditor qualification for IATF 16949 (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
