Action Express MK are looking to employ a permanent class 2 driver with excellent local knowledge to join our expanding delivery team. We are network partners of APC Overnight and Pallet Track while running our own Sameday and International Freight Services.
We are looking for an ideal candidate that:
- previous experience with pallet multi drop deliveries in the local area (MK/LU and surrounding areas ) maybe beneficial but not essential
- Is over 25 and holds a full current class 2 license for more than 2 years
- Has no more than 6 points and no previous bans from driving
- Is competent, hard working, flexible with a positive attitude and is extremely reliable
- has driving experience in the last 12 months with a class 2 vehicle
- has previous experience using a tail lift and electric pump trunk
- has excellent communication and full understanding of written and spoken English
Each day will be different as we deliver a huge range of items to mainly business destinations but sometimes also residential deliveries which take a little bit more care and consideration. We will provide a driver assessment and also any training you need for EDC use and pallet trucks etc.
Working days are Monday to Friday day start time 8.30am until approx. 5.30-6pm
The successful applicant will need to have access to their own transport to get to and from work as we are not on any public transport routes. On site free car parking is available. Full uniform and PPE will be provided.
This position pays £15.10 per hour and is weekly paid.
We also pay 28 holidays a year (inc. Bank Holidays) plus pension contributions.
