An excellent opportunity has arisen with a respected sports company in Buckinghamshire, for a caring and experienced Houseparent to join their team from October 2025.


Start Date: 1st October 2025
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Salary: 40,000 per annum + pension & benefits
Contract: Permanent (live-in, permanent)

This live-in, full-time position offers the chance to play a pivotal role in the welfare, care, and day-to-day life of international athletes (aged 15-17) enrolled in a world-class soccer programme. The role blends pastoral support, operational management, and community building in a supportive, professional environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in pastoral care with young people (e.g. houseparent, boarding, youth work)
  • First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake)
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills; calm under pressure
  • Compassion, patience, and the ability to support teenagers adjusting to new environments

Desirable:

  • Driving licence (vehicle provided)
  • Experience working in multicultural or international settings
  • Affinity with sport and an understanding of athlete lifestyle and discipline
