Are you a confident technical sales professional with a background in engineered products, automation, or smart sensing systems? If you're skilled at demos, customer conversations, and building long-term relationships - and love the idea of selling next-gen hardware that helps map, measure, track, and automate - this role is built for you.

We're recruiting for a well-established UK business that partners with global manufacturers to bring cutting-edge sensor and automation technology to customers across automotive, robotics, defence, and infrastructure sectors. Their products help businesses understand, analyse, and navigate the physical world - from high-speed motion sensors to autonomous mapping and spatial awareness solutions.

?? What You'll Do:

  • Manage the full sales process: from lead generation and demos to customer onboarding and aftercare
  • Prospect and grow accounts across multiple sectors including automation, automotive, mobility, and security
  • Deliver technical demonstrations and confidently explain how complex equipment delivers real-world benefits
  • Maintain your pipeline and activity in CRM; support marketing and supplier updates
  • Build relationships for the long haul: you'll be as much a technical advisor as a sales exec

?? You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have:

  • Solid experience in technical product sales - ideally in robotics, industrial automation, test & measurement, or engineering-led solutions
  • Background in roles like Technical Sales Executive, Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, or similar
  • Confident with both hunting and relationship development. You enjoy the challenge of opening doors and nurturing accounts
  • Skilled at consultative selling. You can guide customers through options and recommend the right setup
  • Strong commercial instincts. You understand cost, value, and ROI
  • Based close to the Milton Keynes office with flexibility to travel occasionally.
