We are currently recruiting for a role with a multi award-winning automotive company that specialises in servicing, restoring, and preserving classic and vintage automobiles. With nearly 50 years of experience, the company brings a wealth of expertise that ensures every project honours the legacy of each vehicle while enhancing its functionality and usability.

They are actively seeking an experienced and passionate CNC Machinist to join their close-knit team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating HAAS CNC machines, including both a lathe and a mill, to perform precision turning and milling tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring all components meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

(CNC Machinist) - Position Overview

  • Operate HAAS CNC machinery: 1 lathe and 1 mill.
  • Perform precision turning and milling tasks with a focus on high-quality output.
  • Utilise CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360) for programming and machining operations.
  • Design and manufacture fixtures as needed for various projects.
  • Set up and operate CNC machinery in accordance with detailed specifications.
  • Ensure strict quality control and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Machine small-batch, specialist parts on demand, often from castings.
  • Work with a variety of materials, primarily aluminium, with some cast iron and magnesium.
  • Collaborate closely with the management team to meet project deadlines and standards.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-management.
  • Experience with CAD / CAM
  • Proficiency in Turning and Milling tasks
  • Strong Quality Control skills to ensure precision and adherence to specifications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

(CNC Machinist) - Position Remuneration

  • Salary 40,000-50,000 (Depending on experience)
  • Performance base bonus (Depending on yearend profit figures)
  • Monday - Friday (8-16:30)
  • 28 days holiday, including bank holidays
