This is a full time office based role for a 3 month temporary contract.

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Milton Keynes City Council for a Customer Liaison Officer to join the Children's Services department and assit the LADO with administrative tasks.

Role responsibilities

  • Log and triage referrals and consultations
  • Minuting meetings
  • Maintain accurate records across systems like LCS and spreadsheets
  • Ensure that all communications-emails, meeting notes, and updates-are properly filed and accessible
  • Ensuring that data protection protocols are followed
  • Providing accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Tracking outcomes and closure of cases
  • Supporting audits and quality assurance processes

Skills required

  • Basic knowledge of Children's Services and Safeguarding
  • Experience dealing with sensitive data and difficult situations
  • Good IT and written skills.
