HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver
Salary: £40,000 per year
Location: Milton Keynes
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shifts: Monday to Friday with occasional overnights/weekends
We’re recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver to join a high-end vehicle delivery team based in Milton Keynes. You’ll be transporting prestige vehicles across the UK (and optionally into Europe) using enclosed 6-car Rolfo trailers.
About the Role:
- Load, secure, and deliver customer vehicles safely and on time
- Complete all relevant paperwork (CMRs, customs docs, digital handovers)
- Act as a brand ambassador – professional, well-presented, and customer-focused
- Follow all driving hours and tachograph regulations
- Occasionally stay overnight depending on routes
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience with Class 1 Car Transporters (for insurance)
- Experience with Rolfo or Covered Car Transporters is essential
- Valid HGV CE licence, CPC & Tacho card
- No more than 6 points on licence
- Strong communication & customer service skills
- Detail-focused, tech-savvy, and reliable
- Able to pass DBS and drugs/alcohol screening
