Job DescriptionWe are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Employee Relations expert to join our established team to focus on policy development, governance, and information management.Your role will be to support strategic people initiatives by ensuring policies are clear, consistent, and aligned with legal and organisational standards. The role also ensures that accurate and accessible ER information is available to stakeholders across the business.This is a genuinely an exciting time to join us—as we evolve our culture, elevate our employee experience, and build deeper connection across a large and diverse workforce.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide expert guidance on ER policy interpretation and application.
  • Lead the development, review, and harmonisation of ER policies and procedures.
  • Ensure policies reflect current legislation and best practice.
  • Maintain and manage ER information repositories and knowledge bases.
  • Support change initiatives with policy impact assessments and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure policy alignment.
  • Deliver training and guidance on policy updates and ER processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure consistent policy application across the organisation.
  • Manage ER casework for a designated area of the business, providing second-line support.
  • Contribute to key projects and initiatives across the People Team, supporting the ER Delivery Lead in driving outcomes and improvements.
  • Actively participate in the True Agile team, flexing to business needs and helping the team operate smarter.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Significant ER experience; policy development and implementation
  • Strong written communication; attention to detail; ability to simplify complex information
  • Knowledge of employment law and ER policy frameworks
  • An Analytical mindset; collaborative; proactive in identifying policy gaps
