Broster Buchanan are delighted to be partnering with a large multi-site organisation who are looking to recruit a Head of Finance, on a permanent basis. The Head of Finance will hold responsibility for financial control, forecasting, commercial analysis, and decision support. They will business partner with operational management and commercial finance teams to drive commercial opportunities and identify risks.  Key Duties will include:
  • Provision of finance business partnering to the SLT
  • Management of the financial control environment
  • Driving business profitability through the provision of quality commercial analysis and insight
  • Providing M&A support to the SLT – identifying targets, conducting financial due diligence, legal documentation and integration
  • Analysing and interpreting financial and statistical data with a view to ensuring the relevant Senior Management are informed of key issues, risks, and opportunities
  • Supporting the development of growth and efficiency strategies 
  • Organising and controlling the forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Preparation of Monthly Board Reports and commentary
  • Development and reporting of KPI’s
  • Ownership of market and competitor analysis
  • Managing the finance team
  • Ensuring the provision of suitable systems, processes, and procedures to accurately capture all financial transactions and exert strong financial control
  • Managing internal and external audits to confirm adherence to Group financial policies and procedures
The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified individual with a minimum of 5 years PQE, and a background of holding senior finance leadership roles within an FMCG environment.They will be an exceptional communicator who is comfortable business partnering and influencing senior finance and non-finance stakeholders. They will possess demonstrable experience of operating in a complex, multi-site organisation, and from a personality perspective Candidates will have an appetite for driving continuous improvement. This role will be home based, but will require regular UK wide travel. Our Client is offering a competitive remuneration package.
