Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with both mechanical and electrical experience to join a busy and well-established manufacturing site in Milton Keynes. You'll be working as part of a proactive maintenance team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery and site equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operation in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 per annum
Hours: Rotating Shifts, Monday to Friday (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
Location: Milton Keynes

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs quickly and effectively to minimise downtime
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Support production teams with machine set-ups and adjustments
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow internal processes
- Work in line with Health & Safety regulations and site standards
Requirements:
- Recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition certification (BS7671)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills (mechanical & electrical)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, skilled team
- Flexible approach to shift work
Desirable:
- Apprenticeship-trained engineer
- Experience with automated machinery, conveyors, or packaging equipment
- Knowledge of PLCs and control systems
