Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £47,500 - £50k (DOE) + Overtime

Location: Milton Keynes

Shift pattern: Panama days and Nights (every other long weekend off)

Holidays: 20 shift holidays

The Company

ATA have partnered with the UK's leading multi-site supplier supplying into the biggest names in the food retail sector. As the maintenance engineer you will be working on both semi and fully automated kit at their 1 of 6 purpose-built sites in Milton Keynes. They are looking for a maintenance engineer who has as ambitions to progress within the engineering sector to become a seasoned engineer. You will work alongside a team of multi skilled maintenance engineers on a range of industrial washer, conveyors, dryers and much more.

The Role

As the maintenance engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting planned and preventive maintenance on automated and complex machinery
  • Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components including contactors, invertors, relays, bearings, rollers and some work on Siemens and Allen Bradley
  • Maintain levels of critical spares
  • Control calibration records

Requirements

As the maintenance engineer, our client requires:

  • NVQ level 3 apprenticeship (or equivalent) in engineering
  • Good understanding of fault finding both mechanically and electrically
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
