- Support and improve food safety processes across all stores.
- Assist in launching new store locations from a food safety and technical perspective.
- Collaborate on HACCP and SERT systems, ensuring robust implementation and maintenance.
- Review and approve artwork, product specs, and technical documentation.
- Provide subject matter expertise on ingredients, food products, and supplier approvals.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying and addressing any food safety risks.
- Contribute to the development of brand sourcing guidelines.
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Product Development, Marketing, and Central Operations.
- Maintain strong working relationships across the full supply chain.
- Support in setting KPIs and contract management for outsourced technical or food safety functions.
- A degree in Food Science or a related field.
- HACCP Level 4, Food Safety Level 3, and an accredited auditing qualification.
- Membership of IFST preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in food industry roles—ideally across manufacturing, FMCG, food service, or hospitality sectors.
- Proven expertise in food safety, product development, and supplier management.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and collaborative working style.
