We are looking for a qualified and experienced Plumber/Gas engineerto join one of our market leading gas contarctorsteam in the Milton Keynesarea. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and the necessary Gas qualifications, with a passion for delivering high-quality service in Social Housing.
Key Responsibilities:

Service and maintain unvented hot water cylinders in accordance with manufacturer instructions and Part G of the Building Regulations.

Carry out safety checks, including inspection of pressure relief valves, temperature & pressure relief valves, and discharge pipework.

Test and re-pressurise expansion vessels/air gaps as required.

Clean strainers and filters to maintain system performance.

Check and test immersion heaters, thermostats, and high-limit cut-outs.

Diagnose and repair faults, replacing components with manufacturer-approved parts.

Commission new or replacement cylinders, complete all required documentation, and hand over to customers.

Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety standards and in line with current legislation
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
- Gas qualifications (e.g., Gas Safe registered or in the process of becoming qualified)
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and materials
- Previous experience working in plumbing and gas roles is essential
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving license
