We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join a dynamic team at a Secondary School in Milton Keynes. This is a 1 Year Fixed Term position, beginning in September 2025, offering an exciting opportunity to teach chemistry within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across key stages, ensuring that they develop a strong understanding of the subject while fostering a passion for science. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the academic progress and personal development of your students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging chemistry lessons that are tailored to the needs and abilities of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help students improve and achieve their potential.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the chemistry curriculum.
- Ensure the highest standards of behaviour management in line with school policies.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities related to the subject area, such as science clubs or revision sessions.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
- UK Teaching Experience in Chemistry or a closely related science subject.
- An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
- Passion for teaching chemistry and the ability to inspire students to reach their full potential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
