Fantastic Opportunity for a Teaching Assistant in Bletchley, Milton Keynes!
Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEND & Communication Support)
Location: Bletchley, Milton Keynes (MK3)
Rate: 90 - 110 per day (dependent on experience)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school in Bletchley. The school supports children with a range of SEND needs, many of whom are working towards early academic goals at KS1 level. This role would suit a Psychology or SEND graduate, or someone with experience supporting learners with communication and emotional regulation needs.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to learners with SEND, helping them engage with academic and social learning
* Support students in developing communication skills, including the use of alternative methods such as PECS or Makaton
* Promote a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment
* Help students manage emotional regulation and challenging behaviours in a calm, supportive manner
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists to meet individual learning and developmental goals

Key Requirements:
* A Psychology, SEND, or related background - or experience working with children with additional needs
* Confidence in supporting non-verbal or minimally verbal learners
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient, understanding approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Passion for supporting children's personal, social, and academic progress
