We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Milton Keynes on a supply basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4 and make a meaningful impact through the remainder of the academic year.

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that support the school's high standards for achievement. You will be joining a supportive department with a strong ethos of collaboration and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering the Computer Science curriculum to a high standard across KS3 and KS4.

  • Planning, preparing, and marking lessons in line with school policies.

  • Supporting students in achieving their academic targets and fostering a love of computing and digital literacy.

  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent delivery of the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • UK classroom experience as a Computer Science Teacher.

  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred.

  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to adapt lessons to suit a range of learners.

  • A proactive and professional approach, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
