We at Supply Desk are looking for a resourceful and driven Design Technology (Resistant Materials/Graphics) teacher in Milton Keynes.
This ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Secondary School is currently looking to recruit a Design Technology teacher to join their team who shares their strong drive for success. With a reputation for academic achievement, the Head Teacher and a supportive Senior Leadership Team are seeking a teacher who can help maintain high standards and inspire students to go further.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop valuable skills or build on your current experience within a school environment. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
What you will do:

Support students in their GCSE and BTEC pathways through Design and Technology.

Provide insight into the philosophy and educational importance of design and technology for ages 11-16.

Create engaging lesson plans and manage classes effectively, with a focus on strong assessment and progress tracking.

Promote the wider role of design and technology within the school and its community, locally and nationally.
Requirements:

A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one.

QTS / PGCE or equivalent qualification.
-
Ability to provide references covering the last two years of employment.

Confidence in teaching Key Stages 3 to 5.
