Paralegal - Commercial Property 

Milton Keynes 

A leading regional law firm is seeking a Paralegal to join its expanding Real Estate division in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time role offering exposure to a wide variety of property matters within the telecoms sector, with the chance to work alongside major clients on both site-specific and large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of commercial property transactions, including leasehold acquisitions, licences, deeds of variation and surrender, assignments and more
  • Draft and negotiate legal documentation using precedents or based on heads of terms and client instruction
  • Review third-party drafts, negotiate terms, and coordinate documentation to completion
  • Investigate and report on both registered and unregistered title matters, including identifying and advising on any defects or restrictions
  • Liaise professionally with clients, surveyors, and legal representatives to ensure seamless communication
  • Maintain and update client systems, intranet portals, deed schedules and produce relevant reports throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Undertake SDLT/LTT submissions and HMLR applications post-completion where required
  • Attend regular review meetings and participate in client training sessions or marketing events as needed
  • Support project work and secondments with key clients, delivering updates and collaborating with in-house legal teams

 About You

  • Previous commercial property experience is essential
  • Excellent drafting, proofing and communication skills
  • Strong IT competence, especially with Microsoft Office and legal systems/portals
  • Confident working independently on transactions while contributing to a collaborative team
  • Comfortable handling deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy under pressure
  • A commercial mindset and willingness to contribute to business development where appropriate
