Paralegal. Telecoms Team

£24,500 - £26,000

My client, an Award winning B Corp Certified Law Practice are recruiting a Paralegal to join their Residential Conveyancing Team. The successful candidate is likely to have a Professional Legal Qualification ( Law Degree / Paralegal / CILEX). Residential property experience with freehold and leasehold residential property and plot sales is desirable.

Responsibilities include:

  • Day to day management of client files including leasehold acquisitions for greenfield sites, rooftop sites, in-build sites, deeds of variation, licences to occupy, freehold acquisitions, and more.
  • Draft documentation from templates, or produce first draft and thereafter negotiate commercial terms and legal wording with other lawyers, working towards agreeing documentation for engrossment
  • Investigate registered and unregistered title, raise title requisitions if required and ensure compliance with relevant restrictions, advising on potential risk,remedies and / or rectification procedures as appropriate
  • Raise and replying to enquiries and liaising with more senior lawyers where required.
  • Deal with Completions
  • Deal with SDLT / LTT and HMLR applications post completion
  • Provide a professional and proactive service to clients, to include occasional client meetings and training.
  • Compose clear and concise day to day correspondence (telephone, emails and letter) with clients and lawyers.
  • Attend and participate in marketing events as required.
