What You Will Do:

- Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting on machinery to keep operations running smoothly.

- Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks and services to optimise equipment functionality.

- Analyse production data and collaborate with stakeholders to recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

- Assist in training staff on new equipment and processes to ensure seamless operations.

- Maintain clear communication with opposite shifts about ongoing maintenance topics.

- Use the in-house system to accurately record work performed and manage spare parts inventory.

- Uphold high standards of health and safety, food safety, and hygiene.

What You Will Bring:

- Proven experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within the food manufacturing industry.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and production processes.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

- Clear and articulate communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Adaptability to work with various manufacturing IT systems.

- Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous, but full training will be provided.

- An IPAF or forklift licence, along with some electrical knowledge, would be beneficial but not essential.
