Role Overview:

As SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies that increase organic visibility, improve rankings, and drive traffic across multiple industries. You will collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and developers to optimize web assets and support the wider digital marketing strategies for a range of clients, as well as the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Strategy Development:Create, execute, and manage SEO strategies for clients across various sectors.
  • Technical SEO:Conduct regular site audits, identify technical issues, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • On-page Optimization:Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, and user experience for search performance.
  • Off-page SEO:Manage and execute link-building strategies and digital PR initiatives.
  • Keyword Research:Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to inform content and SEO strategies.
  • Content SEO Support:Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in content creation.
  • Analytics & Reporting:Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and our own native development platform.
  • Stay Up to Date:Keep up with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging tools to ensure strategies remain cutting-edge.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in an SEO role, ideally within an agency setting.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing and how it intersects with SEO.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present strategies and reports to clients.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) principles.
  • Understanding of paid media to inform holistic digital strategies.
