We are recruiting for a leading Clean / Critical Air specialist who have recently established a client base in the Home Counties. They are seeking a hardworking LEV Engineer to undertake the full range of servicing, testing and repairs to LEV and critical air systems. Candidates will need strong hands-on experience and an excellent aptitude for identifying system performance issues and routes to repair. Our client is seeking a candidate to cover contracts across: Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Aylesbury, Watford, Hitchin, Bishop's Stortford, Harlow, Saffron Walden, Cambridge, Biggleswade, Sandy, St Neots, Bedford, Huntingdon, Newmarket, Haverhill, Ely, Chatteris, Soham, Peterborough, March, Northampton, Bletchley, Buckingham, Bicester, Oxford, Didcot, Wantage, Witney, Banbury.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have proven experience working as an LEV Engineer within a Clean Air specialist
- Will be qualified with the BOHS P601 as a minimum
- Excellent technical knowledge including the HSG 258 and COSHH guidelines
- Good literacy and IT skills
- Strong client-facing skills
- Flexible to travel as required
The Role:
- Undertaking the inspections, testing and servicing of Local Exhaust Ventilation and critical air systems
- Completing repairs as required on systems
- Servicing and repairs on Safety Cabinets and Fume Cupboards
- Ductwork installations and repairs
- Identifying system performance issues or faults and making recommendations to rectify
- Ordering parts and materials
- Completing regular service reports
- Meeting with clients on site to discuss technical matters and answer any queries
