We are delighted to be supporting our client in the Milton Keynes area who is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Your role:
Work closely with design and development manager to translate visions to life. Use engineering principles and innovative thinking to generate new mechanical solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to prototype, test and validate new product designs. Work to understand project requirements and to determine the viability of the study. Participate in design reviews, meetings, and customer presentations.to gather feedback and incorporate changes. Make detailed designs using Solidworks.
Track project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies. Assist wit project documentation including design files, specifications and reports. You will be creating, testing and provide profitable solution specifications for manufacturing. Including 3D CAD models, fully dimensioned engineering drawings to B8888/ISO standards, assembly drawings, BOMS, test date and build test and evaluation of prototype.
You will possess strong solidworks knowledge and 2 year background knowledge of manufacturing processes.
