Service Engineer Join Our Expanding Team!
Electron-X is growing, and our Service Support team is at the heart of it! We are seeking a talented Service Engineer to support the maintenance, servicing, and repair of X-ray systems across the UK. With the recent expansion of our Service Department, this is an exciting time to join a team that plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of a variety of X-ray solutions for a diverse range of industries.
Your Role
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- On-site servicing of customer X-ray equipment and facilities across the UK.
- Diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, control, and instrumentation faults.
- Routine maintenance of our in-house X-ray machines and equipment.
- Managing spare parts stock and ensuring availability for both customer and in-house repairs.
- Accurate documentation, keeping detailed records of site visits, breakdowns, and repairs.
What Were Looking For
- Degree or HNC in Engineering or equivalent experience with electro-mechanical systems.
- Willingness to travel across the UKlonger trips may require overnight stays.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word & Excel).
- Quick learner, ready to take on new skills and responsibilities.
- Broad knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Full clean driving license required.
