Location: Monks Walk, Chicksands, Shefford, SG17 5TQ
Start Date: ASAP     
Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned improvements and major repairs for housing stock.

  • Support capital investment and major repairs programs.

  • Ensure homes meet the Decent Homes Standard.

  • Manage contracts and ensure quality assurance for improvement programs.

  • Conduct site inspections and define work scopes.

  • Focus on customer needs and ensure excellent communication.

  • Report to Housing Property Team Leaders.

Person Specifications
Must Have

  • Degree or HND in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Extensive relevant experience in Housing/Property and contract delivery.

  • Knowledge of Social Housing Standards and Decent Homes Standard.

  • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CDM regulations.

  • Commercial awareness for achieving value for money in contract management.
