We are looking for an experienced Transport Team Leaderto oversee daily transport operations and manage a team of drivers within a fast-paced logistics environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic conditions, has strong leadership capabilities, and is committed to ensuring smooth and compliant transport execution.
Job Duties;
- Lead daily transport operations and oversee drivers during assigned shifts.
- Liaise with planners, dispatch, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Monitor deliveries ensuring schedules are adhered to.
- Support shunting operations and delivery station activities.
- Ensure compliance with H&S and transport regulations.
Experience needed;
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work under pressure and manage operational challenges in real time.
- Familiarity with shunting, dispatch, and warehouse processes.
