Production Manager

Production Manager (FMCG) Monday - Friday days, Salary: £55,000
Location: Milton Keynes

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in the FMCG/Food industry to lead our production team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader who can balance operational excellence with people development, ensuring both high performance and strong team morale.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop the production team to deliver consistently high performance.
Monitor and analyse production KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban.
Ensure compliance with food quality, health & safety standards, and relevant regulations.
Oversee audits and maintain adherence to industry standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and H&S regulations.
Champion a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning.
 
As the Production Manager you will have:
Proven experience as a Production Manager within the FMCG/food manufacturing sector.
Knowledge of audits, food safety, and quality assurance processes.
Experienced in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency.
Familiar with regulatory and compliance frameworks including ISO and H&S standards.
