What You'll Be Doing

  • Advising customers on product compatibility and technical solutions.
  • Providing accurate information on pricing, availability, discounts, and delivery.
  • Sourcing alternative components to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrating product knowledge across franchise and non-franchise suppliers.
  • Interpreting customer requirements and recommending suitable products.
  • Negotiating pricing with commercial awareness to protect margins.
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with customers.
  • Taking ownership of your learning and contributing to team success.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.

What We're Looking For

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Ideally, a degree or ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect and communicate.
  • A methodical, detail-oriented approach to work
  • Proven customer service and support skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems. Experience in electrical engineering or distribution is a big plus
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for solving problems and improving processes.
