Our client is seeking a trained Phlebotomist to join their busy GP surgery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and caring professional who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a professional and reassuring service to patients during blood collection
- Following infection prevention and control protocols at all times
- Ensuring accurate and safe collection, labelling, and handling of blood samples
- Maintaining clear and accurate patient records and documentation
- Preparing and dealing with samples in accordance with practice and laboratory procedures
- Requirements:
- Previous phlebotomy training and experience (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach
Hours can be flexible, anything between 3 and 5 mornings.
