Quality Inspector required to join a well-established Manufacturing company based in the Milton Keynes area, that specialise in supplying service for a range of industries including railway, automotive, aerospace, construction, MOD & security, industrial, marine and power.



Quality Inspector Job Overview

  • Carry out quality assessment measurements of all the products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials, including metrological and visual assessment.
  • Operate the CMM, experience with Aberlink software ideal, but experience with PC-DMIS is an advantage.
  • Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and drawings to understand the product requirements
  • Reject all the incoming raw materials which fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue promptly.
  • Resolving quality-related issues and adhering to deadlines
  • Assist the QM in designing an efficient quality system and protocols which can be used across all company needs
  • Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records
  • Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
  • Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product
  • Assist the Head of Quality with KPI data and monitor customer satisfaction levels
  • Monitor the production phases at various levels


Quality Inspector Job Requirements

  • Previous experience within a Quality inspector position or similar would be advantageous
  • The ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances
  • A quality control inspector should be vigilant enough to identify the variances in products to meet the specific standards.
  • The quality control inspectors should possess strong knowledge of the type of equipment and computer programs used adhering to the safety guidelines of the organization.

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8am - 5pm Monday to Thurs and on Friday its 8am - 2pm
  • Salary - £15 - £16 per hour
