Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Milton Keynes, UK
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established residential developer based in the Milton Keynes area. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and growing team, supporting the successful delivery of a range of high-quality housing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for residential developments
Supporting the management of subcontractor packages, valuations, and payments
Monitoring project costs and reporting on financial performance
Assisting with tendering and procurement activities
Liaising with site teams and project stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency and commercial success
Requirements:
Proven experience working with residential developers (housebuilding sector preferred)
A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and contract law
Excellent communication, numerical and analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
