Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Milton Keynes, UK
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Sector: Residential Development

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established residential developer based in the Milton Keynes area. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and growing team, supporting the successful delivery of a range of high-quality housing projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for residential developments
  • Supporting the management of subcontractor packages, valuations, and payments

  • Monitoring project costs and reporting on financial performance

  • Assisting with tendering and procurement activities

  • Liaising with site teams and project stakeholders to ensure cost efficiency and commercial success



Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with residential developers (housebuilding sector preferred)

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations and contract law

  • Excellent communication, numerical and analytical skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
