We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join a friendly supportive finance team in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for working with large data sets and a keen eye for detail. Strong background working with Excel and large sets of data is essential. The successful candidate will be instrumental in assisting with rebate payments and maintaining accurate and organised records.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of rebate transactions using in house rebate software and spreadsheets
  • Reconcile rebate payment records daily with bank statements, internal systems and spreadsheets to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Ensure that all rebate payments are recorded accurately and matched with corresponding claims
  • Manage, maintain and payment distribution of special confidential agreements
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between rebate claims, payments, and financial records
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with large data sets.
  • Ability to analyze financial records and interpret data accurately, identifying issues.
  • Previous experience in a finance support role is advantageous.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
