We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Drama Teacher to join our creative team at a secondary school in Milton Keynes. This Drama Teacher position is a permanent role, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop students' love for drama and the performing arts from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5.

As a Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding lessons that not only cover performance skills but also explore the theoretical aspects of drama, theatre history, and production. You will have the opportunity to direct school productions and contribute to the department's extracurricular activities, helping students build confidence and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Drama to students at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
  • Encourage student participation in school productions and other extracurricular drama activities.
  • Develop students' performance, analytical, and creative skills through practical and theoretical learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the curriculum is consistently updated and relevant.
  • Support students' personal development, helping them build confidence and creative expression.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • UK teaching experience in Drama or a related subject.
  • ECTs are welcome to apply.
