We are working on behalf of a client based in Milton Keynes who is seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join their education team, supporting young people through rehabilitation and re-engagement in learning. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver a purposeful and engaging English curriculum in a secure and supportive setting, designed to equip learners with essential literacy skills and qualifications for life beyond education.

About the Role:
  • Deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons leading to Level 1/2 and GCSE qualifications

  • Develop engaging schemes of work that support reading, writing, and communication skills

  • Support students with varying educational backgrounds and complex behavioural or social needs

  • Work collaboratively with a skilled team of educators, SEN professionals, and external agencies

  • Inspire learners to build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve meaningful qualifications

What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is ideal

  • Previous teaching experience in English is required

  • Experience working with SEN pupils and/or in alternative or secure settings is highly desirable

  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

  • Resilience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education
