The Role:- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Maths department across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Oversee the planning, delivery, and assessment of a rigorous and engaging curriculum.
- Support and mentor a team of Maths teachers, promoting collaborative practice and professional growth.
- Use data to monitor student progress, identify trends, and implement targeted interventions.
- Lead on curriculum development, assessment design, and whole-school numeracy initiatives.
- Contribute to the wider school leadership team and play a key role in raising standards across the board.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong track record of outstanding Maths teaching.
- Proven experience in middle leadership or a readiness to step into a leadership role.
- Deep understanding of the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum, including assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
