A well-regarded specialist school in Milton Keynes is seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. About the Role-
Deliver personalised, inclusive teaching to students with diverse SEN profiles across Key Stages 3 and/or 4

Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning styles and EHCP targets

Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring clear and consistent feedback to support development

Foster a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment

Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and external agencies

Contribute to wider school life, including review meetings and professional development
Essential:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Experience working with children or young people with SEN
-
Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instruction
-
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
-
Commitment to pupil wellbeing and positive outcomes
Desirable:
-
Experience in a specialist or alternative provision setting

Knowledge of EHCPs and progress tracking tools (e.g. P Levels, MAPP)

Team Teach or other de-escalation training
-
Confidence using AAC, sensory strategies, or assistive technologies

A supportive, nurturing environment focused on whole-child development
