A large UK-wide group of wholesale & distribution businesses are looking for an entrepreneurial and sales-driven General Manager to join their growing operation. If you're from a sales background and are an experienced General Manager / Business Manager / Branch Manager working within a wholesale & distribution environment with profit and loss responsibility, this could be an excellent career opportunity for you to run your own business with full autonomy.Role ResponsibilitiesAs a General Manager, you will be given the training, tools and knowledge to quickly take on a Business Management role within the group. You'll work closely with existing Business Managers to familiarise yourself with the company, their products, processes and values.This will prepare you for a General Manager role where you will:

  • Be responsible for the running of the entire business, including driving sales, full P&L, managing and mentoring employees, marketing, logistics and purchasing
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing B2B customers
  • Ensure the achievement of set targets and objectives
  • Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to develop company performance and revenue
