Hair & Beauty Teacher - Join an Inspirational ARP in Milton Keynes
Dunbar Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and passionate Hair & Beauty Teacher to join an exceptional Alternative Provision (ARP) in Milton Keynes.
About the Role:
Location: Milton Keynes
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary, Part-time
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Hair & Beauty to students with a range of abilities and needs.
Maintain a strong focus on behaviour management, creating a positive and safe learning environment.
Develop students' practical skills through use of the fully equipped Hair & Beauty salon.
Provide consistent feedback to students to help them achieve their academic and vocational goals.
Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to support the holistic development of each student.
Create individualised learning plans that support students with additional needs.
What We're Looking For:
Experience teaching or tutoring young people, ideally within the 11-19 age group.
Strong experience with behaviour management and working with students who may have complex needs.
A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people, with a genuine care to support them in achieving their full potential.
Experience in Hair & Beauty and the ability to deliver both theoretical and practical lessons.
Experience within vocational training is highly beneficial, but not essential.
